Well, here goes..... trying again to get to grips with this blogging malarkey. I won't believe I'm too ancient to accommodate new technology, I just have to find a user-friendly host. Tried Livejournal recommended by my offspring but haven't been able to get my head around it. I can do it but it takes ages and isn't intuitive to me.

I've just come back from three weeks on holiday in Australia, having never before travelled outside Europe. For my friends and family I'm going to upload a series of pictures so those interested can see what we got up to over there. Watch this space...
